S Factor is a company leading the niche fitness industry through the teaching and promotion of the S Factor Pole Dance Workout for women, providing group and individual classes, instructional DVDs, apparel and more. CSW worked with a team of designers that created the perfect website for easy and efficient use by their clientele.
Our job was to give life to the student center as well as the class sign-up process. It was a huge challenge because we had to work not only for the client themselves, but side by side with a varied team made up of the current IT staff and the marketing team.
Website Development - Challenges
The Student Center is the most important part of the website and it utilizes certain features we created specifically to fit together to convey simplicity, facilitate ease of use and to enhance accessibility.
We integrated with Authorize.NET for the payment application but also in order to save students’ payment profiles. This was to ensure a high level of security and to enable S Factor to be able to guarantee the safety of the sensitive information of its users.
While the Student Center is the most important part of the website, the sign-up process is the heart of the student center. We developed a unique solution. By working with Telerik RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX we were able to deliver a very sophisticated sign-up processes linked to the interactive calendar of classes.
Delivering the Solution
We used our own components to work the integration with Authorize.NET so that part of the solution was actually very easy to implement.
The sign-up process starts with selecting the location to see which classes are scheduled. You'll see a calendar with three possible views (month - default, week and day views). Then just by hovering the mouse above the classes the information will pop up for the class, including the price and relevant teacher photo. Just click the Register button to select the class and proceed to the payment options. It’s that simple!
Updating the profile information is an easy process: just by re-entering the information all the synchronization for payment with Authorize.NET is performed “under the hood”.
We also made the integration with the current back-end system so class waiting lists, payment transactions, referral program and class management were handled without a single change.
Utilizing sophisticated technology like ASP .NET and third-party controls we were able to deliver yet another excellent, transparent integration. CSW utilized the knowledge of its senior programmers and extensive experience to make technology work for S factor by streamlining the sign-up and scheduling process for its clients. Now, clients can sail through a stress- and hassle-free registration and enrollment experience providing S factor with a contented client base, efficient management of class size and a streamlined database of new clients.
